Irving is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Irving is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Tasty Turkey was the "go to" bagel.....not so much anymore...wet packaged turkey, no sprouts or red onion and old cucumbers, all these things come standard on the tasty turkey, but not here. it just was not good. It was take -out, so maybe that's why., but the staff was nice enough. My wife and I probably won't be back to this particular location. I forgot, also didn't get my chips and pickle.

This morning I went to go get a bagel before work the lady there could not understand my order. It was an everything bagel with egg and cheese and bacon. How hard is it to understand that and then another bagel asiago with jalapeño and I wanted a jalapeño salsa spread on it. She was very clueless. She repeated my order and I told her no I was looking at the screen and I was like that’s not my order. That’s not what I’m saying and she couldn’t understand me there was another guy there and he was seeing her struggle and he wouldn’t jump into help. I’ve been in the customer service industry for a very long time. I repeated my order several times and she still couldn’t understand it so I ended up walking out unsatisfied without my food. It was very disappointing. no wonder nobody was there because the service sucks. They need somebody else who understands English.

I stopped by today and had a great experience. I came in during a situation that could’ve easily been inconvenient, but at the register handled it with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Customer service like that really stands out these days. The bagels and shmears were also great — fresh, delicious, and exactly what I needed today

I was so happy to discover there was an Einstein close me. Then I met the staff and everyone has exceeded what I would want to interact with for a morning routine. Veronica remembered me instantly after only coming one day. You can’t beat the delicious food, fast service, and friendly faces here.

I get the same thing each time I visit ave each time they are consistently excellent from entrance to the quality of food. Great portion on my Lox bagel. Fresh juice is excellent. The muffin never misses and the potato hash brown is superb. I would say having a more timely manner with sanitizing down the tables and seats is one area that could use work.
